In January 2024, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) hosted a high-level delegation of 15 Vietnamese aviation security officials and airport representatives to

  • advance Vietnam’s goals of improving aviation safety and security standards as the country expands its aviation infrastructure to meet expected long-term air traffic demand increases;

The delegation included senior leadership from Vietnam’s Ministry of Transport (MOT), Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), and the General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC).
