Welcome to our Energy Transformation Committee!
Our vision is to enhance energy access and availability while promoting a balanced approach to global energy transformation. At the core of our mission are several key technology focus areas, including Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), methane emissions and utilization, hydrogen production and new markets, low carbon-intensity oil production end-markets, carbon removal technologies such as Direct Air Capture (DAC), flare reduction, biomethane mitigation, energy efficiency, and energy storage, and geothermal energy.
Our goals include the following:
Facilitate Global
Collaboration
public-private partnerships, collaborations between MNCs- startups- investors, and society at large
Promote knowledge
sharing and market
education
Telling the story, moving beyond binary
divisions, and overcoming market perception challenges
Support best
practices
Telling the story, moving beyond binary
divisions, and overcoming market perception challenges
To achieve these goals, we engage in various activities including global trade missions, focused meetings, academic collaborations, industry conferences, and publicity campaigns.
We recognize that successful energy transformation requires a realistic, global perspective.
"Decisions around energy are often driven by intangible factors. Eliminating fossil fuels while maintaining significant growth is not feasible: 'You simply cannot grow by subtraction.' The math does not work!"
