You are invited to an exclusive luncheon and presentation by the Minister of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi.
With numerous achievements in both the public and private sectors, Her Excellency Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi is one of the most recognised UAE government officials. In 2009, she was named among the Forbes List of the 100 Most Powerful Women in the World and the Wall Street Journal recognized H.E. Sheikha Lubna as one of its "50 international women to watch", calling her "one of the Mideast's highest-profile movers and shakers."
During last week's visit to the UAE, US Assistant Secretary of Commerce, Saresh Kumar met the Minister and declared the UAE as a, "Gateway to regional and international markets," according to Dubai's Khaleej Times. He added that "US companies are increasingly finding that the UAE, not Paris or London, is the ideal location for their regional headquarters."
There are around 750 US companies currently operating in the UAE. There is a Trade and Investment Framework agreement with the US and a number of Free Trade Zones, which allow full foreign ownership and a zero tax rate.
Space is limited for this event and the invitation is non-transferrable. RSVP's are required and must be submitted by June 11.
