We are pleased to announce our support and role as a Strategic Partner in the U.S. International Pavilion at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) November 7-10. ADIPEC is the largest, most influential oil & gas event in the MENA region, and for decades it has presented exceptional opportunities for U.S. equipment and services suppliers to meet Arab buyers and influencers.

Despite a challenging global energy economy, the United States is banking on big business at the show, and is projected to account for as many as 15% of the total exhibitors expected at this annual event. The centerpiece of the national effort is the U.S. International Pavilion, organized by Kallman Worldwide, Inc., the official U.S. representative of the show, in coordination with numerous government agencies, including the U.S. Commercial Service.

Kallman recently formalized its partnership with the Bilateral Chamber to help strengthen business relationships and cooperation between its U.S. exhibitors and the MENA decision makers regularly involved with Chamber activities. The Waldwick, NJ-based firm has been organizing the U.S. presence at international trade events since 1963, and currently represents 11 shows in the MENA region, including ADIPEC, Dubai Airshow and Arab Health.

“I describe our trade show business as “a year-round conversation punctuated by events” because we never stop advocating for our exhibitors and our country,” said Kallman Worldwide President and CEO, Tom Kallman. “We are proud to welcome the Bilateral Chamber as a Strategic Partner in the U.S. International Pavilion at ADIPEC because we share its values, support its ongoing mission and believe it will help heighten awareness of America’s year-round commitment to the region.”

Comprised of space in Halls 7 and 8 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, the Pavilion will be a primary destination for buyers looking to meet U.S. industry leaders, an on-site business hub for U.S. exhibitors looking to maximize their exposure and impact at the event and a forum for all to share industry information and insights.

Pavilion exhibitors range from publicly traded stalwarts to privately held small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with fewer than 250 employees, all looking to initiate or strengthen international partnerships that will generate new business and create jobs.

The Bilateral Chamber’s involvement with the Pavilion at ADIPEC (and also the 2017 Arab Health and Dubai Airshow events) will be to help ensure connection and dialogue between U.S. companies and MENA delegates long before arriving and long after the close of the exhibitions themselves. “The Chamber’s connections throughout the Gulf are extremely important to our U.S. exhibitors, and are sure to help jump-start this new era of cooperation and coordination,” Kallman added.

U.S exhibitors at ADIPEC know their business growth depends on their customers’ operational performance.  The Bilateral Chamber is proud and excited to join forces as a Strategic Partner and contribute to the U.S. initiatives planned for ADIPEC and the other events Kallman represents in the GCC.  As always, our role is to promote common goals and encourage cooperation between U.S. suppliers and their MENA customers to ensure mutual success.

To draw extra attention to the U.S. presence at the show and drive more trade attendees to visit all U.S. exhibitors, Kallman will roll out its “Ask America” on-site advocacy campaign at ADIPEC. The message will be placed prominently around the Pavilion, integrated into official events and media during the show, and highlighted in social media (follow on Twitter @kallmanEWC).

“The United States may be one of the world’s biggest oil & gas equipment and services suppliers, but that’s no guarantee that buyers at ADIPEC will look to work with U.S. companies over others,” said Kallman. “We want every show visitor to ‘ask America’ because we are listening and can help them gain a competitive edge in any market sector, anywhere in the world.”
